Liina Siib (*1963, Tallinn) is one of the first Estonian artists to start using digitally treated photographs. From the very beginning, her interest lies in the deeper facets of human nature, the complicated relations between childhood and the world of adults. This time at Kunsthalle Tallinn, Lina Siib presents her work on the topic of fear in the urban environment.

Video footage Liina Siib records mainly in Tallinn and London – places associated with violence – constructs the image of the fear of space and tests the ominousness of the sites as well as their ability to evoke criminal fantasies.
